Translation:
Hoy en ti brilla el sol,
La razón de mi vida llegó.
Veo en ti la ilusión,
Tu mirada me inunda en calor.
Today on you shines the sun,
The reason for my life has arrived.
I see in you hope and dreams,
Your eyes drown me in warmth.
Siento en mí la emoción,
Sin palabras tejimos tensión.
Pienso en ti, en los dos,
Fue tu alma buscando mi voz.
I feel in myself that emotion,
Without words we weave a tension.
I think of you, of us two,
It was your soul searching for my voice.
Esta vez, muy dentro de mí,
Todo me dice que sí.
Esta vez, no puedo mentir,
La verdad llegó a mí.
This time, deep inside me,
Everything tells me “yes”.
This time, I can’t lie,
The truth has come to me.
Quiero quedarme
Y conocerte
Quiero acercarme,
Escucharte y tenerte, eh-eh-eh-eh.
Contigo me encontré, eh-eh-eh.
I want to stay here
And get to know you,
I want to get close,
Listen to you and hold you, eh-eh-eh-eh.
I found myself with you, eh-eh-eh.
Quiero cuidarte
Y protegerte,
Darte mi gloria,
Mi alma y mi suerte, eh-eh-eh-eh.
Contigo me encontré, eh-eh-eh.
I want to care for you
And protect you,
Give you my glory,
My soul and my luck, eh-eh-eh-eh.
With you I found myself, eh-eh-eh.
El pasado me habló,
Fue por ti que todo se escribió,
Que viví y que dolió,
Al verte mi destino llegó.
The past spoke to me,
It was because of you that it was all written,
That I lived and that it hurt,
On seeing you my destiny arrived.
Esta vez (esta vez)
Muy dentro de mí (muy dentro de mí)
Todo me dice que sí.
Esta vez (esta vez)
No puedo mentir (no puedo mentir)
La verdad llegó a mí.
This time (this time)
Deep inside me (deep inside me)
Everything tells me “yes”.
This time (this time)
I can’t lie (I can’t lie)
The truth has come to me.
Quiero quedarme
Y conocerte,
Quiero acercarme,
Escucharte y tenerte, eh-eh-eh-eh.
Contigo me encontré, eh-eh-eh.
I want to stay here
And get to know you,
I want to get close,
Listen to you and hold you, eh-eh-eh-eh.
I found myself with you, eh-eh-eh.
Quiero cuidarte
Y protegerte,
Darte mi gloria,
Mi alma y mi suerte, eh-eh-eh-eh.
Contigo me encontré, eh-eh-eh.
I want to care for you
And protect you,
Give you my glory,
My soul and my luck, eh-eh-eh-eh.
With you I found myself, eh-eh-eh.
Entre tantas almas yo te pude ver.
Fuiste luna en mi atardecer,
Y hoy cada noche, estrellas que ves
Me guiaron a mirarte.
Between so many souls, I was able to see you.
You were a moon in my afternoon,
And now every night, stars that you see
Guided me to see you.
Quiero quedarme
Y conocerte,
Quiero acercarme,
Escucharte y tenerte, eh-eh-eh-eh.
Contigo me encontré, eh-eh-eh.
I want to stay here
And get to know you,
I want to get close,
Listen to you and hold you, eh-eh-eh-eh.
I found myself with you, eh-eh-eh.
Quiero cuidarte
Y protegerte
Darte mi gloria,
Mi alma y mi suerte, eh-eh-eh-eh.
Contigo me encontré, eh-eh-eh.
I want to care for you
And protect you,
Give you my glory,
My soul and my luck, eh-eh-eh-eh.
With you I found myself, eh-eh-eh.

Translation Notes:
Veo en ti la ilusión
I see in you hope and dreams
Carla Morrison is saying that she sees a positive vision of the future. She is imagining her hopes and dreams. The connotation isn’t “fake vision” (like “illusion” in English) but “hopeful and thrilling possibility”. English does not have this meaning for “illusion“, but it might have had it in the distant past? Consider the related word, “disillusion“, and it’s meaning of shattered dreams and disappointment in reality.
Siento en mí la emoción
I feel in myself that emotion
I feel in myself the emotion
“The emotion” is the literal word-for-word translation, but she clearly means she is feeling love develop, so “that emotion” translates the meaning better.
Quiero cuidarte y protegerte,
Darte mi gloria, mi alma y mi suerte
I want to care for you and protect you,
Give you my glory, my soul and my luck
Here, this stanza sounds like a marriage vow. Carla Morrison is saying she wants to give all of herself, all her joy in life (her glory), her soul, and her destiny (luck) to her lover. She is so in love.
