“Te Regalo” by Carla Morrison, English translation of lyrics

“I Gift to You” Lyrics
Album: Amor Supremo Desnudo (Supreme Naked Love), 2017
Style: Romantic indie pop with a slow melancholy tone. Love song about dedicating your life to someone. This would be good first dance song for a wedding reception.
Country: Mexico, USA (Arizona)
Listen: YouTube

Translation:

Déjame tomarte de la mano,
Déjame mirarte a los ojos,
Déjame, a través de mi mirada,
Darte todo mi esplendor.

Let me take you by the hand,
Let me look you in the eyes,
Let me, through my gaze,
Give you all my splendor.

Déjame quedarme aquí,
Déjame besarte ahí,
Donde guardas tus secretos,
Los más obscuros y los más bellos.

Let me stay here,
Let me kiss you there,
Where you guard your secrets,
The darkest ones and the most beautiful.

Te regalo mis piernas,
Recuesta tu cabeza en ellas.
Te regalo mis fuerzas,
Úsalas cada que no tengas.

I gift you my legs,
Rest your head on them.
I gift you my strengths,
Use them when you have none.

Te regalo las piezas
Que a mi alma conforman,
Que nunca nada te haga falta a ti.
Te voy a amar hasta morir.
Te voy a amar hasta morir.

I gift you the pieces
That shape my soul,
So that never ever will you want for anything.
I will love you until I die.
I will love you until I die.

Déjame jugar contigo,
Déjame hacerte sonreír,
Déjame darte de mi dulzura,
Pa’ que sientas lo que sentí.

Let me play with you,
Let me make you smile,
Let me give you my sweetness,
So that you feel what I felt.

Déjame cuidarte,
Déjame abrazarte,
Déjame enseñarte
Todo lo que tengo pa’ hacerte muy feliz.

Let me take care of you,
Let me hug you,
Let me show you
Everything I have to make you very happy.

Te regalo mis piernas,
Recuesta tu cabeza en ellas.
Te regalo mis fuerzas,
Úsalas cada que no tengas.

I gift you my legs,
Rest your head on them.
I gift you my strengths,
Use them when you have none.

Te regalo las piezas
Que a mi alma conforman,
Que nunca nada te haga falta a ti.
Te voy a amar hasta morir.

I gift you the pieces
That shape my soul,
So that never ever will you want for anything.
I will love you until I die.

Te regalo mis piernas,
Recuesta tu cabeza en ellas.
Te regalo mis fuerzas,
Úsalas cada que no tengas.

I gift you my legs,
Rest your head on them.
I gift you my strengths,
Use them when you have none.

Te regalo las piezas
Que a mi alma conforman,
Que nunca nada te haga falta a ti.

I gift you the pieces
That shape my soul,
So that never ever will you want for anything.

Te voy a amar hasta morir.
Te voy a amar hasta morir.
Te voy a amar hasta morir.
Uh-uh-uh, uh…
Uh-uh-uh, uh

I will love you until I die.
I will love you until I die.
I will love you until I die.
Hoo-hoo-uh, uh…
Hoo-hoo-uh, uh…

Translation Notes:

Te regalo [mis fuerzas],
Úsalas <cada (vez)> que no tengas.

I gift you [my strengths],
Use them <when> you have none.

I gift you [my strengths],
Use them <every time> you have none.

Carla Morrison only says “cada que no tengas” but the missing implied word is “vez“, for “cada vez” (every time).

Te regalo las piezas
Que {a} <mi alma> {conforman}

I gift you the pieces
That {shape} <my soul>

I gift you the pieces
That <my soul> {they shape}

conformar a <algo>, verb phrase = to shape <something>; to assemble <something>; to make up <something>

[Que] <nunca nada> te haga falta a ti

[So that] <never ever> will you want for <anything>.

[So that] <never> will you lack <anything>

Here, “a ti” comes from the verb phrase, hacerle falta a _____, where the blank is the person who is lacking the something.

Déjame darte <de> mi dulzura,
Pa’ que sientas lo que sentí.

Let me give you my sweetness,
So that you feel what I felt.

Let me give you <of> my sweetness,
So that you feel what I felt.

Déjame abrazarte

Let me hug you
Let me embrace you
